Born in 1943 in Aichi Prefecture.
After working for the Aichi Prefectural Government,
became a freelance photographer in 1970 focusing on documentary works.
Since around 1980, has been using a 35mm single-lens reflex camera
to capture nature on film with a keen sense and a well-defined technique.
